Most people don’t seem to know what anthropology is.

And that’s too bad, because anthropology can be very useful.

Anthropologists study people. What they do and how they do it, how their worlds work, what they have in common and what each group may do differently.

But the best thing about anthropology is the way it changes your perspective. Studying anthropology tends to alter the way you see almost everything, from politics to weddings to Final Fantasy XIV (or WOW or whatever your favorite video game of the moment might be).

Not only that, anthropology can be a useful tool to address all sort of social problems, large and small.

Sadly, not enough people listen.
